An Appointed Time…

We pray. God hears. He answers.  We, by faith WAIT on the answers to our prayers. We ask, "why is it taking so long?"  God's response:  "It is for an appointed Time".  

Ahh the mystery of "The appointed Time".  I believe many of us would have little problems with waiting until the appointed time, if we knew when that was.  The issue with God revealing a time to us, is that, time doesn't apply to Him.  From God's perspective it is already done.  God inhabitants time and space.  So unlike us,  God does not need clocks,calendars and day planners. What He does need is our Faith. 

Our job is to focus on God, and not the time it is seemingly taking for Him to answer our prayers.  Habakkuk 2:3 says, for the vision is yet for an APPOINTED TIME; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie, though it tarries, WAIT FOR IT.  

While we wait, we are focusing on God's character, praising Him for who He is. We are thanking  Him for what He's done, and IS doing  right in front of us.   Live in the Present, with God, because He has already secured your future.

Accountable to God:The Book,  discussions have begun inside our new Facebook group page!  Many people have received their books and are sharing their thoughts on accountability, God, and our most recent post, Hypocrites in the church.  

Tired of the Hypocrites is the first chapter in my new book, Accountable to God.   Hypocrisy is nothing new, and most people at some point in their lives have been exposed or damaged by it.

  Make no mistake about it, God has much to say about hypocrites in the church. In my book I share more in-depth,  God's heart concerning this and what our response should be.

Disappointed in The Church

 I hear a knock at my hotel room door, and it is a woman with a distinct accent announcing that she is with housekeeping.  I am usually gone when they make their rounds.  I didn't want to miss her services so I opened the door!  

As she walks in with continued greetings she says,  "I've noticed that you are an Author?"  hum, She sounds Dutch, I love that accent!   She is very sweet, extremely friendly, and always smiling.  I've noticed her before. I didn't have any of my books currently lying around so she says,  "I've noticed your books before" and I say, "Yes I am an Author, it is my first book!"  

The lady congratulated me and said,  I noticed it is about God.  "Your book will do well here.  I see that in the United States many people believe in God,  not so in Europe."  I could not intelligently respond to that as I have never spent time in Europe.  All I could say is, "surely there are a lot of godly people in Europe,  perhaps they are more silent?"     

She says; "No, they aren't silent, they are disappointed.  Disappointed in the Religion. Not God."

WOW! I did not feel more resolute, in God's reasoning for calling me to write "Accountable to God",  than I felt in that moment.   

I looked at her, and she had a look of disappointment stuck on her face. I said to her, "Do you know that this is what my book is about?"  She began to beam, while saying.."It is?"   

We continued to talk about God.  Who God really is, and what He really wants, and how people definitely have a way of convoluting His message.  She seemed to be encouraged, and actually left with a copy of the book!  I signed it with a message of hope, and asked her to please share it with her family in Europe. 

Why do you think people are disappointed in Church, thus causing them to be disappointed in God?

We have books people, Let's Grow!

I am “Officially” a published Author!  And it’s time to “Go get it!”  When this box arrived I thought, “This just got real!” And I don't say that? 

I had to really have a  talk with myself, because I could feel fear trying to creep in!  I thought, "Chan, you have a  big box of books here, and it's on you to sell all of them."  

God spoke this book into my spirit, and He would not let it leave.  In the past, I had a  bad habit of starting and stopping things, but God said not on this one you're not!  The Word of God says in Eccl. 7:8, "It's not the beginning of a thing but it's end."  

What has God trusted you with? What will you be held accountable for? 

We all have God assignments that were written, signed, and addressed with our name on it, but we 
don't have to be afraid of what God has for us. God has already paved the way, and He's waiting on us to take off walking!  

The circumstances around you don't have to be perfect.  If God is in it He will  open the doors and anoint  you to  walk through all of them!   God will complete what He has started in you, Phil 1:6.   He will reveal His glory in your life!   Do you know who you are? Better yet do you know who your God is?

My books are coming!

YAAAAAY! I received an email that my first bulk order of books "Accountable to God" have been shipped!  They should be here any day, and I can't wait to share them with you!  

I am so excited to have this assignment out. When I first began writing this book I never thought about writing it to sell and make a ton of money.  This book was birthed out of a burden that God placed on my heart for His people.   There is a huge misunderstanding about God, what He wants, and  the people who represent Him.  

 Accountable to God will bring so much light into your life.  This book during the edits continued to minister and encourage  me again and again!  It will give you and those you love the faith and hope they need to power forward in life.

My Proof Copy, and the Journey!

I am one step closer to having my book available to the masses.  Once this proof is approved my book will be officially launched!   Accountable to God will be available  to purchase on Amazon, Kindle, and of course through this blog.

Completing this assignment was a commission from God.  It blessed me so much while I was writing it because everything was bubbling up from the Holy Spirit, and I was truly enlightened.  I found myself praising, repenting, crying, worshiping, and dancing   in light of what God was sharing with me for His people. 

 When God first gave me this assignment I prayed about what should be on every page and every chapter. I would pray until I pushed through before writing sessions to ensure that what I said was fueled by the Holy Spirit.  It was not easy to write this book.  I had to address some tough issues that were strong holds against faith in God,  and His church.  I poured through my Bible diligently to make sure I paired every revelation, standard, and principle with God's Word. 

 The Lord gave me all of the chapters before I started writing the book.  Some chapters I could fly through, and some I would often think, "I'm not qualified to write about this, I've got nothing!? It wouldn't take long before a series of very tough trials would manifest in my life.  God brought me through them, I was able to look back and see God's hand, and so I continued to write. 

So many pauses. I would be chugging along good, and then bam  deadlocked! I had many moments where I had no clue when I would finish because of the amount of research and spiritual maturity it took for me. I am embarrassed to tell you when I actually started writing this book!  Lets just say I once was  young, and now I am years older.  It's not that the book is super deep,  it's not? It is written in a way that even a child could understand it, but when you make your way through it you will see what I mean.  I also hit a lot of brick walls with traditional publishing submissions, independent firm submissions, and self publishing attempts.  First time publishing "done right" is not easy when you don't have great  resources. This book is a mandate from God on my life and  I know He wants the world to know this.  I had to finish it. 

(And if you know me, you know I don't walking around saying God told me to  say this or that.. I just don't do it.)   The very title alone was enough to convict me.  I knew no matter what I would be held Accountable to God on judgment day if I didn't get it out, so here you go!

Book Launch Coming Soon..Pre-orders are open!

We are one step closer! I have been working diligently to make this long awaited release a reality!  We are ramping up for marketing, and  I am patiently awaiting my first proof copy of Accountable to God.  Wow God, thank you! This book is so special to me, because I can remember the moment God carved the contents of it into my heart.. many years ago!  The Lord's mission concerning Accountable to God would not leave my spirit and it stayed very heavy on my heart.

 God never stopped speaking to me concerning this book no matter how long it took me to finish it.    God's spirit dealt with me year after year after year, and would not let me give up on HIS book.  When I say this is God's book, it is His book! (You will understand why when you pick it up and read through it)  

The Lord has given me such a burden for this truth.  As you experience Accountable to God,  I know you will be excited, relieved, enlightened, and empowered in the faith like you never have before.
